So, hello everyone. I'll blog/reblog political stuff at times, horror stuff, Manic Street Preacher stuff, Law and Order SVU stuff, Queen stuff, lots and lots of animal pictures (especially dogs and especially Pembroke Welsh Corgis 'cos I have one), and pictures of Ian Somerhalder. Tumblr is my place to unwind...so, I don't get really heavy on here. If you don't like...no probs just move along. I'll block trolls or people who have nothing constructive to say (just want to be douchebags). Respect me and my little fluff blog, and I'll respect you.

I am a HUGE animal lover and volunteer with a rescue organization (with basset hounds). I am educated. I work a great job at a FANTASTIC and famous medical facility in Minnesota. I'm an anglophile, but I LOVE Minnesota as well, and yes, I do love Prince.

Planned Parenthood should be federally funded because it is in the interest of society as a whole.
People who cannot afford contraceptives, or cannot afford them at full price, receive them at Planned Parenthood. This helps with population control. The more people having children that cannot support them financially, the more people on welfare.
And that’s if you’re using the whole taxpayer argument.
I, for one, am all about human rights, social rights, etc, so on and so forth. I care about my fellow man more than I care about the money in my wallet. But then again, that’s just me.
For me, this is a no-brainer. I believe, under all circumstances, Planned Parenthood not only should be, but needs to be, federally funded.

I’m not asking you whether or not Planned Parenthood should be federally funded, I’m asking you where the federal government has the authority to do so. Hint: they don’t. If you believe in following the Constitution, then you’re against the federal funding of Planned Parenthood. The government simply has no authority to fund a private organization, regardless of what that organization does for society.
I’m not even going to address the “population control” argument, because the world is nowhere near overpopulated.
I care about my fellow man more than my wallet as well, and that’s why I generously give when I can. What I don’t support is violently stealing from my fellow man to give to my other fellow man.
Planned Parenthood receives $1 billion in profit and private donations, more than enough to cover all of it’s functions even if federal funding was cut. Instead of advocating for the federal government to steal from people to give to Planned Parenthood, why don’t you advocate for people to generously donate to Planned Parenthood? Why do you prefer violence and theft to solve this problem instead of generosity?
I have two questions that you still haven’t answered:
Where does the federal government get the authority to fund Planned Parenthood? If the Constitution does not explicitly give authority to the federal government to do so, it’s illegal.
Why are you okay with the government violently stealing from it’s citizens to pay for Planned Parenthood, but not okay with a single woman violently stealing from fellow citizens to pay for her own care? What gives the Almighty Government this magical power?
